Same-Sex Marriage Support: Conservate Frames

Ashley Koning, graduate student with ECPIP and manager of the Rutgers-Eagleton Poll, has been carrying out research on same-sex marriage attitudes. In particular, we have run a number of experiments on our polls, looking at how the framing of the issue affects support for same-sex marriage. We have previously reported some of this work when we wrote about marriage equality frames (a liberal frame).  Recently we have seen the rise in conservative frames SUPPORTING same-sex marriage. So yesterday Ashley and ECPIP Director Dave Redlawsk has a post on The Monkey Cage blog looking at this. Rather than repost it here, it you’d like to see where this is going, click here to read the post.
